GB NEWS wins 3 awards Nigel Farage News Presenter of Year

I like GB news, glad to see so many GNs do to. Trust them more than the BBC (which isn't saying much!)

Some time ago I came on here to criticise GBNews and was rightly told to earn the right to sneer I should go back and listen. I did.
I came back to apologise for misjudgment and have enjoyed some well rounded discussion and even phoned in to argue where I haven’t agreed.
Today I have been listening to Nigel Farage opening speech at the Reform rally.
I don’t particularly like the man but he is articulate and does speak some very obvious truths.
The main point here though is that GBNews are televising the rallying speech without comment, editing or interruption so that we can make our own decision.
Other stations will no doubt edit highlights according to their own beliefs.

Course they will, they make him look like total racist. I watched him being interviewed by Fiona Bruce, she came across as a right ignorant cow, so rude! After saying she wouldn’t interrupt him- she never let him get a word in edge ways. Wish she would just stick to antiques

We watch Michelle Dewberry presenting on GB News most evenings. She won’t stand any nonsense on there, always makes sure everybody gets equal airtime and manages to do it in a down to earth, jokey way.

A few nights ago she intervened in an argument between a Labour person and a Conservative going over the same old ground and blaming the opposite party for everything. She held her hands up and told them both sides had messed up and had nothing to be proud about and to keep quiet.

Far more experienced presenters could learn a lot from her. 👏

Never seen GB news but can understand how Farage won a presenter award as he speaks very convincingly although I emphasise that I dislike the man and his views intensely. Dislike Eamon Holmes too so don't think I'll be watching in the future either!

I find it difficult to understand why Nigel Farage has any supporters in any aspect of his political life.

I find it difficult to understand why people are so critical of other news media, accusing them of " bias".
The BBC is admired and accepted in many other countries. Channel 4 has a long tradition of iconoclastic reporting.
Surely " the truth" is not the preserve exclusively of GB news?

It doesn't matter if the BBC is 'admired' in other countries. They don't pay for it or live here.

As for clowns the only one I've noticed during the GE campaign is the leader of the Lib Dems.

I like GB News especially Eammon Holmes. His dry comments are a welcome change from the posturing and rigid BBC which has become so dry and boring. Sky is fine too but I usually end up watching GB which I find more interesting and lively with better presenters.

Not only dry and boring, but has many presenters who have obviously never heard of the most important word in telling the news, impartiality.

How dare you insinuate that LP supporters would ever “protect” people like Saville, if anything the elite protected him, and will know most of the elite are far from left-leaning.

I pick and choose what I watch on GB News as you would with any programme, and have enjoyed many debates and chats on there.

There is nothing vile about my post, unless one supports Hamas. People who like & support Nigel Farage have to put up constantly being called nasty racists.
