If I were Dee Dee, I would be asking who the tenant is and expecting an answer.

Plus if money is so ‘tight’, with the divorce and everything, I wouldn’t be expecting a fancy honeymoon and we wouldn’t be having takeaways and drinking in the Rovers every touch and turn.

I hope Daisy doesn’t turn her attentions to Kit.

I think you mean Joel sarnia, I don’t think DS Swain or DeeDee believe him. Why didn’t DeeDee go into the bedroom in the flat? Surely she would have found more evidence there.
BTW, DeeDee seems to have quite an extensive wardrobe, she hardly ever wears the same outfit twice.

Just been reading that the actor who played Martin Platt has been dropped and they are now scrambling to rewrite Gail’s departure.

He had filmed several episodes since July and nobody knows why he has been dropped.

I saw that too, really odd. Presume eventually the full story will come out.

Can’t really recall why he’s moved into Glenda’s old room at the Rovers. Has he sold the flat where he lived and just looking around for his next place?

I assumed the nice house he was living in when Bernie first traced him belonged to his adoptive parents. Has he still got a dad?

Seeing as he’s bought Gemma’s house, I assume his inheritance from his recently deceased mum has been released in double quick time, unlike real life.

Oh, hadn’t seen that. I assumed Martin was going to reappear, he and Gail would reunite and disappear into the sunset in Cheshire or possibly Thailand.

Martin Platt always irritated me. When he was last in it he was a relatively young man, and he humphed and phuffed and pshhed like an old codger - it was constant. His character was ok - it was the actor who played him that way.

The report I read said he'd pulled out for personal reasons. I think he'd been angling to get back in for some time, so that seems odd. Maybe he's ill - I hope not.

Quite a few Corrie actors have the same problem.

Nurse Aggie, (thankfully gone), Ed Bailey, Jack Webster, even Steve McDonald just gurns away most of the time, but I think he has improved a bit lately.

There must be more, but can’t recall at the minute.

Definitely Dev Calendargirl with his silly way of speaking.

Wish we could see more of Mary & Brian, I think they make a great partnership.

I thought about Dev sodapop but didn’t name him as I know he has some fans on this thread!

Quite a few are on the way out, Gail, Stu, Paul, Joel, Leanne but I think she will be back, Sam ditto to name some. I would add Cassie to that list.

I think David is looking so unkempt at present. A bath or shower and shaving his beard would not go amiss.

Is Roy returning? Audrey and Rita are getting on a bit in age.
