The Family do you remember

Does anyone remember The Family? it was an amazing fly on the wall series that was really a first. the family were a bit of a mix and they were not afraid to lay everything open to the cameras. it included a son who it came out was not the fathers, the mother had a lot to say and the father was a lot quieter, a moody teenager who had a coloured boyfriend very contraversial at the time, an older daughter who had her boyfriend living there with her and seemingly spent much of his time in the pub, an older boy who was married with a son and lived in what was probably the dining room. it was a real no holds barred series including a holiday in Spain again very new at that time great viewing have watched it several times now

I loved a series called Soho Stories that was an early fly on the wall sort of programme.

I can rent remember the dad in his Christian t shirts, and he always cooked different dinners for everyone, every night.

After that, they featured a Muslim family, who were hilarious.

They the mum and dad, Margaret & Terry Wilkins... are both dead. They had divorced and remarried other people. The children have all been with various partners/husbands and wives.
the youngest girl who was 15 and hated school, and had controversially a black boyfriend, went onto have mixed race children with other partners.. and has been a successful hairdresser all her life..
