Anyone watching? A bit far-fetched but watchable so far. Wish it wasn't six episodes though.

We’re enjoying it, with just one episode to go. I wish I could persuade DH to binge watch though. He rarely wants to sit through more than one episode of anything and we’re currently at different points of Red Eye, The Responder, Rebus and Blue Lights. I’m getting very confused with all the characters and plots!

We’ve watched two and enjoyed them. Rare for us both to enjoy the same programme. Yes, implausible at times, also predictable at times but still an enjoyable watch.

I agree.

Just watched the penultimate episode. I'd started to think that IT would turn out to be hidden in his wound a couple of episodes ago but no idea how the rest of it will turn out.

It is implausible but I enjoyed it, held my interest.

Just finished it and really enjoyed it.. also can I recommend The Ipcress File on ITVX ,it is a remake of the original film with Michael Caine and is really well done.. very authentic to the book by Len Deighton

Certainly at one point the woman owner of the dead dog had it on her lap wrapped in a blanket, she was stroking it .
One small point hopefully explained.
So far fetched and so watchable, I enjoyed it.

Suzieque66 Thu 25-Apr-24 16:41:37

I didnt see where they put the dead dog ? AND where did the dog go to relieve himself ? And he had been on the plane for 10 hours + and did the man get unlocked from the manaculls to use the toilet ? its the small things that niggle me ....

Finished it last night. We really enjoyed it.

The time span (what a lot happens on this flight to Beijing) and they get back to London so quickly reminds me of Dan Brown and his Da Vinci Code. DH and I watched and actually brought in our supper on trays to watch the whole lot. Usually never eat except at the table!
The death rate reminded me of Midsomer Murders and what a big plane to be able to stash all these bodies. Hope I am not spoiling Redeye for anyone.

..

Sorry annifrance, but you are confusing two very different productions that just happen to have the same title.

The ‘Red Eye’ being referred to here is a series on ITV and ITV-X starring Richard Armitage and Lesley Sharpe.

The Netflix one you quote is a film starring Cillian Murphy and Rachel McAdams.

So, which is the one you consider mediocre and formulaic?

Mildly entertaining. Not over inspired. Very mediocre and formulaic. It's on Netflix

That's a different programme but with the same name on Netflix.

BigBertha1 Thu 25-Apr-24 06:37:45

I just like watching and fantasizing about Richard Armitage.

Binge watched. Thoroughly enjoyed

Yes implausible, yes, far fetched…but it’s a TV drama- so what? We’ve binged watched the lot now and really enjoyed it. We hardly ever watch TV together, I like dramas and documentaries. Mr Moon likes reality TV/ property/ antiques programmes, but he humoured me an started to watch Red
Eye and was hooked.

Thoroughly enjoying it. About to watch episode 6. Binge watching 😀

Implausible, far fetched etc etc but entertaining. Not everything has to be realistic to be watchable . Completed the whole thing on ITX - watching into the early hours of the morning.

sweetcakes Wed 24-Apr-24 14:48:14

I enjoyed it very much and yes a bit far fetched but if it didn't any flesh on the bones it would be a tad boring.

Sparklefizz Wed 24-Apr-24 14:32:37

Agree it’s far fetched but some good twists!

Lookout01 Wed 24-Apr-24 12:25:05

Watched the first five over two nights, fell asleep at end of fifth last night so will watch final one later today. Enjoying it but like you say, far fetched in parts, good acting, just hoping for decent ending now

Started watching downstairs… went to bed and binge watched till about 03:30…Mr H couldn’t keep his eyes open, so watched the last episode with Mr H bringing coffee back to bed before getting up 😁
