Just caught up with this marvellous series from 2001 on UK TV.
Adapted from the Trollope novel, I thought it was terrific. Great acting from all and especially David Suchet as Marmotte (apart from his hysterical laughing, always a hard thing to bring off).
I do recommend it if you like period dramas and missed it.

Thankyou hollysteers,haven't seen this! There seemed to be a Golden Era of adaptations , always something to look forward to. I think Trollope was a superb writer, will be watching soon smile

Thank you for the heads up hollysteers, we have recently set up UKTV and have found some great viewing on it already. We will be sure to look for this one.

I can recommend Signora Volpe starring Emilia Fox too.
