Joan Collins and Louis Theroux interview

Well, I thought she looked bloody marvellous.

Such an interesting person with so many stories. She’s a wealth of knowledge.

Ok, she may be a bit of a diva. But remember she is of a different age and era.

One of the most interesting interviews Louis has done.

So sad to see a woman who has made her fortune out of being 'sexy' still has to keep it up at 90. She is not a 'real' 90 year old, and trying to pretend she is is doing women a disservice. Makes us believe we can achieve what she has, without the resources for the face lifts and extensive cosmetic procedures. Even old women (us) are criticising her because her age is becoming undeniable. Why can't we just enjoy who we are as we age, we don't need role models like Joanie.

re the nazis and switzerland, can i ask a simple question.
i have heard that the nazis left switzerland alone because it had so many secret bank accounts etc, ie they had money there themselves.
but they could easily have overrun switzerland's defences and taken over the whole country, including all banks and all the money, everyone's.
why didn't they.

Libellous? Goodness me. There are 100s of articles and documents that say exactly this. Johnson was Foreign Secretary at the time, and was officially told NOT to go, and never had clearance. He was so drunk and dishevelled even the next day! Soon after Lebedev was given a seat in the House of Lords!

I totally get that you are not interested in what Joan Collins, who WAS THERE with him- has to say. But it is directly linked to her, and as said, many would like to know more about what happened there and Johnson's behaviour and state. I do- and I can assure many others do too. And the UK's security, at a very delicate time for the country.

Haven't watched the programme so haven't seen her close up yet but I admire her. She's 90 and seems to have great stamina and a real zest for life she also seems to be really on the ball and to have what are probably called old fashioned values. She knows she's famous and always dresses for that part and is one of the last real film stars.

I watched Theroux interview Joan Collins and then Judi Dench, one after the other. I know comparisons are odious, but Joan was glamorous, brittle, superficial and good for ninety.
Judi was wrinkled, funny, self deprecating and fascinating.

I don't think Joan is superficial. She's led an interesting life and overcome a lot with some of the the men who've taken advantage of her. She is a strong woman and I admire her.

I admire Judi Dench too but somehow can never warm to her.

MayBee, I suspect one if the reasons these old rockers manage to live reasonably well despite heroin addiction is simple. Clean drugs are brought to them, they don’t have to rob burgle or sell their bodies to get the next (clean ) fix

I watched it and enjoyed it, she looks and is, amazing for 90 and sharp as a tack with it.Yes, she has fillers, you can see them and wears lovely wigs.I admire how long she’s been working and how she enjoys life. Long live Joanie😃

But I am interested, hence my question. And I know that very many also are- she was a witness to something very important, that put UK security at wide risk, in so many ways. Blackmail and leaking essential security information to Russian Oligarch.

I think it said Joan has homes in France, London, New York and Los Angeles.

Mine’s certainly up the spout, has been for years.
