Interview with the Vampire - BBC 2 tonight - 12th October

Yes, this is one of my favourite books. I enjoyed the film, particularly Tom Criuse it will be interesting to see this series. One tiny criticism of the film, although hardly worth mentioning, it wasn't his wife he lost but his brother.

I particularly liked Antonio Banderas in the film too. I'll probably binge watch it nearer to Halloween

Enjoyed it, I thought it was very well made.

Well, I watched the first three episodes last night and was very impressed.

Apparently, it is based on Anne Rice's books but this series is not always close to the original IWTV. It starts 200 years later and has been updated to mention the pandemic. Anne Rice is an executive producer.

The settings and the clothes were fantastic. I wasn't sure about the actor playing Lestat at first but he has definitely grown on me. I don't recognise any of the actors, which makes a refreshing change.

There is a lot of talking in it, some of which I didn't quite catch.

It's a bit gory in parts but I suppose that is to be expected since it is about vampires.

I'm planning to watch the rest tonight and over the weekend.

I read online that there is going to be a second season.

Love the Tom Cruise film so was very pleasantly surprised when I watched the first episode last night; brilliant .

I’ll look forward to watching it.
