I heard the ferret thing again, if anything I found it even more odd. Also extremely strange that the script writers had Linda out of character.

I wonder if we could get up a raiding party to protect Henry (and Jack) from Rob, at the same time giving our collective grannie wisdom to helen and the bridge farm lot

The whole point is no one is perfect - even Archers characters. It's the flaws that make them interesting, just as it's the character flaws and how we deal with them that makes each one of us an individual.

Iam I listened in horror at the ferret ferris wheel or whatever it was and expected immediate repremands/involvement of RSPCA, etc but even Linda and the young Grundy girl seem to think it was marvellous??
Who ARE these scriptwriters? Why is nobody complaining?

The Archers has been part of my life since the very first epi. But no longer. I've been getting more and more disenchanted since the lockdown monologues and tonight's nonsense has convinced me that there are other, more entertaining, ways to waste 13 minutes a day. You know, sitting in a traffic jam or having root canal work done ....

Well, Thursday should be interesting with the return of Rob. Poor Henry. Also poor Helen

Rob hasn’t changed has he? George is going to be in such trouble and I feel so sorry for Henry. No revealing spoilers as some of us listen at 2.00 and some on catch-up. Where will it go now?

I'm not sure how easy it would be for Rob to change. Coercive control is his 'modus operandi' and he has now turned it back on Henry. We got a hint of this from the time of Helen's trial.

If you remember, Helen did not attack Rob whdn he raped her. It was when Helen decided to leave Rob and had packed a bag. While she cooked dinner, she told Rob and he took a knife and challenged her to kill him as this was the only way she would be able to get rid of him. He then seems to have run past her to get Henry and she took the knife and stabbed Rob.

While Helen was in prison and Henry was with her parents, Rob failed to return Henry after the first contact.

It's not Henry he wants but Jack and he will be prepared to destroy Henry, Helen and anyone else who gets in his way.
