Any Carole King fans?

Saw her a few years ago in Hyde Park, she was fantastic, played all her big hits. Just as good live as on the recordings.

But.. Tapestry always reminds me of my dear chum. She is a Journalist, at that time she had to do a slot for a Travel program on the Radio Station she worked for. We had to go to the South of France I went with her.

Loved it. I was 16 in 1962 and loved Carole King.

We saw Beautiful at a Broadway theatre in New York 4 years ago - part of my wonderful 70th celebrations. I’ve always loved Carol King and learned so much about her life from the production.

I remember when "Will you still love me tomorrow" came out. It was very daring. We knew it was about "doing it". Don't think the word sex was ever mentioned in those days. How things have moved on.

We came across this programme accidentally and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think I'll watch it again when OH is out.

Tapestry is my go to tape when ironing every so often its my favourite tape I just love all her music bring back so many good memories.

I saw her musical in London (Beautiful?) quite by acident. Superb.

Loves a bit of Carole King, there was a similar film about Linda Ronstadt recently - great music. Fans of Carole King might like the series Daisy and the Six on Prime - a series about a fictional seventies band- a lot of Carole King in the soundtrack.

Glad I'm watching this alone, lots of singing along happening here. Quite a few songs I didn't know were hers.

Yes, I love her!

I love, love, love Carole King. She's my go to when I want to have a good sing along (on my own). I think I know every track of "Tapestry". I'm out to Rurals Reels (not dancing, films in the village hall) with friends tonight so OH is going to record it for me. Yeah, that's my sitting down in the afternoon viewing for a few afternoons!
