At home with the Braithwaites on ITVX

I started watching the series last night. Very much enjoyed the first two episodes. Although it is light hearted the programme is exploring serious issues. I shall enjoy following the Braithwaite family.

Just finished the last episode. Throughly enjoyed this series, so many times I found myself laughing aloud at the capers they got up to. Fantastic piece of writing, much better than so many of the TV series these days.

Thanks, I will give it a watch as I never saw it the first time round. I am currently working my way through Dickensian on UKTV Play and Hotel Portofino which is rather lovely and cheerful with beautiful scenery and costumes. We are really spoilt for choice these days. I sometimes think of my mum who had only 1990s TV to entertain her (4 channels) and I don't think she had a video recorder either.

Yes I enjoyed it the first time round so might give it another go though I’m currently re watching Clocking Off on iPlayer which is going to keep me going for some time!

Virginia was played by Sarah Smart i think....she was in loads of stuff on tv and then just disappeared from TV

Yes I watched this with our DDs and we loved it. Thanks for reminding me as I could do with something lighthearted.
