I think Stu’s acting is on a par with Yasmeen’s. Both wooden. I pity poor Eliza having to live with them, her acting is better.

I don't think Stu's acting is as bad as Yasmeen's, but I agree 100% about Dev and Bernie being an insanely odd couple.

I agree with you about Dev and Bernie Calendargirl. I’ve developed a soft spot for Bernie and I think Dev will break her heart. When the Christmas socialising gets underway at the golf club I think he’ll be coming up with feeble excuses not to take Bernie.

I won’t hear what his excuses are as I mostly struggle to catch what he is saying. Even if I rewind the tv and turn up the volume I still can’t understand some of his lines. I’m not sure if it’s my hearing or Dev’s manner of speech. I find it muffled and too fast. Is it my hearing or does anyone else find the same problem?

Dev's speech is very peculiar. The actor always speaks like that - he's not doing it for the character.

Hesortofgabblesforthefirstbitofthesentence then slows right down.

And he speaks in a sort of ridiculous high pitched whining voice some of the time. (Dev).

And the way he calls his children ‘honey’ whilst rolling his eyes and making extravagant gestures.

Just for you, Aveline . He is a good looking man, but the character is such an idiot, and I could not live with someone who talks in that peculiar way - I'd want to scream at him all the time #tolerant.

I always watch Corrie but funnily I never miss anyone and quite often don't even recall their names.

Jodieb I’m embarrassed to say I can’t find the subtitles on my new tv remote. My grandchildren are arriving shortly to stay for the weekend. I’ll get them to demonstrate. If in doubt about anything tech related I usually find it’s easily solved by asking a child !

It seems to me to be massive overhill to be paying a policeman's wage to infiltrate a gang of half a dozen dozy racists. Especially when anything they do, holding meetings or beating up Daryan, they are surrounded by Street residents who can identify them straight away.

They should know you get anyway with nothing on that street, even Stephen is going to be found out sooner or later. Presumably he will start to unwind when Audrey tries to release equity to help Nick buy Debbie's share of the bistro. Incidentally, when I released equity, it involved several people and a face to face meeting with a lawyer, not a quick phone call.

I agree about too many story lines. Wouldn't be so bad if some of them got finished.

Poor old Spider, he's really done it now. I don't think Toyah will forgive him although she might realise he is acting completely out of character and draw some conclusions. Does Toyah do any work? Wasn't she supposed to be a counsellor? She doesn't seem to do much counselling but perhaps Imran left her shedloads of money.

And now Alya is going to be a legal secretary. Where on earth will she sit in that office? There's only room for two desks unless she has one in the kitchen area? Yes, that will be it. Now she's got to sign up for an OU course to get the right qualifications. Can she even type? Oh, well, everyone can type these days, so I suppose she'll cope.

How that boy Max annoys me. I can't bear to watch him doing that silly grin. He'll very soon be bigger than David. I think that's why David goes in for bigger and bigger hairstyles; it's to make him taller.
