Mike flirted with Leanne after his bout of drinking after the bailiffs had been. He went to the Bistro and tried to chat her up. Goodness knows why, as Leanne comes across as a stroppy so and so even when she’s in a good mood!

She gave him short shrift!

Maggiemaybe after the bailiffs had called to his home he stormed out after a row with Esther and went for a drink in The Viaduct and Leanne was working behind the bar. That's when he flirted with her, but she was having none of it.

There's obviously more to find out about those two. Luckily the three Dad's are on the case.

Thank you for your help, fellow fans! I think I must have dozed a bit in between the bailiffs turning up and the hungover Mike being berated by Esther. I agree that it’d take a brave man to want to take Leanne on!

I liked Jacob too, I thought it was working out well for him before his hateful dad appeared. A huge cheerio to dopey Summer, she has been so annoying for months. I've enjoyed the Stephen break, long may it last.

Agree about Jacob of the staring eyes but I'm sorry he's going. Perhaps he'll be back.

I haven't watched it for a few years. It is on so often that I don't have time to always watch it. They seemed to introduce lots more characters and lose so much of the gentle humour and characterisation that stopped it from being " Manc Enders".
But. I will have to start watching it again. My son is a actor ( mostly stage, but it pays so badly) he has a tiny part in an upcoming episode. Something to do with Nick and Leanne, in the Bistro with a gun ( sounds like Cluedo) and is a policeman. The scene might get cut, but I will watch anyway.

Where has Mike gone and why has he locked Summer in? No doubt she will have a hypo and be found comatose by one of Corries blue light workers. How did the school lock in end? I must have missed that one. Is Daisy and Daniels relationship doomed?

vegansrock Mike went off to Sheffield or somewhere to be with Esther and her ailing father. He locked Summer in the nursery, well, just because he could, and to avoid her running off and telling Esther why she no longer wanted to be a surrogate when Mike has another child round the corner by another woman.

Yes, cue for another dramatic hospital visit for Summer, no 10 hour wait for an ambulance like other parts of the country, and yet another scene for the 3 dads sitting at her hospital bed.

(This is only my take on the situation, perhaps a neighbour will see her little face at the window, tapping madly away……)

Oh, and BlueBelle, according to my new tv guide, Stephen is waiting in the wings….
