One of the reasons I havent watched it so far is I couldn't live with myself if I actually began to like MH.

I am a fairly new convert to the program, but I do find myself quite looking forward to it.
I’m slightly falling in love with Mike, how he dealt with that hideous insect was beyond brave.
I like most of them actually, Chris started to annoy me a bit, but I think George is a real stirrer, and will cause as much trouble as he can.
As for Matt. not my favourite politician, but he did well, and seems up for anything, I enjoyed the friendship between him and Sean, thought it was quite amusing.

I'm a celebrity is one of my favourite shows and I look forward to it every year, however I do think putting Hancock in the show is a mistake by itv, and must make other contestants uncomfortable, it will be interesting to see how things develop.

This will be my only post on here as I understand this show is popular and enjoyed by many. I have lost count of the number of references to the show in all types of media including news bulletins already today. Why do the rest of us have to be bombarded with clips and information about something we don't have any interest in. It's a TV show not world shattering news.

Quite agree, it's rubbish and they are over paid, I would not have the patience to watch it. In the news it said the nurses were going on strike as many are forced to use food banks. Such a contrast in income, seems all wrong with the way the economy is

I’m angry that Matt Hancock is on it, it’s an insult to all those who worked in care homes during the pandemic and his constituents that he’s letting down, He’s a complete cringeworthy embarrassment, going through some midlife crisis having dumped his wife and family for a younger woman, and I won’t warm to him sorry, I don’t usually watch this show, don’t like the animal abuse and wouldn’t watch it with him on it. However, ITV have got everyone talking about it and loads of publicity so it’s a win for them.

ITV knew exactly what they were doing in terms of ratings bringing in MT.
I think Ant and Dec are covering his dubious exploits appropriately. Some of the others are acting predictably, including Owen who hasn't a clue - nice to be that way!
The one who interests me is Mike. I wonder whether he will get involved and say much about MT.

I am obviously as deep as the shallowest puddle as my Grandpa would say because I enjoy IACGMOOH.

I find the interaction between the contestants fascinating. I was not in favour of Matt Hancock going in, but it is making interesting viewing.

Liking him in the show (as entertainment) is not the same as liking him or condoning anything he has done. Like it or not he is there, so we might as well enjoy seeing what happens because it is definitely going to be interesting!

Actually Varian with all the stress of the last two years, the idiots on the M25 jeopardising our business along with my health problems I am more than happy to watch IACGMOOH for light entertainment and people watching.

And it certainly beats all those miserable dark and violent dramas served up the last few years (mostly by the BBC) which leave you feeling depressed. At the moment I can't take any more gloom and doom, I want to be entertained.

He's just a politician. Most likely an ex politician. He did his best during Covid based on knowledge developing all the time. Working in an undoubtedly and stressful yet enclosed atmosphere he succumbed to an affair. I can quite see how it might have happened.
Obviously, all Grans are saintly beings with complete insight and prediction capabilities and wills of iron.

Hancock is scum - the word Angela Raynor had to apologise for using.

She rightly apologised for saying Tories were scum and that is certainly not true of everyone who has ever voted Tory.

However Hancock is scum - an incompetent, self-serving adulterer whose woeful performance as Health Secretary during the worst part of the covid epidemic cost many lives, yet he still feels entitled to get paid £400, 000? for appearing in a tv program involving weeks in Ausrtralia when he is also being paid for not doing his job as an MP in the UK.
