Me too, though I didn't enjoy the ones in the Welsh castle nearly as much as the jungle in Australia.
I think I read that Mike Tindall will be a contestant. Interesting if so!

DH and I always loved to watch this together I still watch now by myself it’s nice to remember evenings curled up together with a box of Maltesers.
I didn’t enjoy the Welsh castle ones either I think next year they are going to South Africa.

We always wrote this off as drivel but we watched it one year and are now hooked.

We look forward to it each year, not so keen on the castle, but really love the Australian jungle, I haven’t heard whose going in this year, must Google

I don’t like the programme I find it very boring as it’s the same ole same ole but I do like Boy George so I might have a look

Yes Anniebach. I'm getting a bit confused here because I think some of the names mentioned are coming back for an all stars programme where the trials will be more extreme? I might be wrong though.

I read Boy George is rumoured to be in this year’s line up. I think he would be an interesting character. Also Sue Cleaver aka Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation St.

I wonder if Liz Truss will be out in time to pack her rucksack and head down under to the jungle?

Seann Walsh (comedian,Strictly) was mentioned in one newspaper but he is on tour until December 10th, so that’s highly unlikely!

I used to watch this but grew tired of it - I thought it got rather exploitative of people's weaknesses. I've read that Gillian McKeith may be back - I do hope not as she didn't fare well last time and if she has as bad an experience again it will be very upsetting for her and make uncomfortable viewing.

I don't mind if people want to watch or. not. It's not compulsory after all!

We were like Kate1949 and thought it would be rubbish but ended up watching when we had a grandson staying a few years ago and now watch every year!

I think there's 2 this year . Past contestants which include Gillian MacKeith. She was superb. And the usual one which has Boy George in as has been mentioned.

I think with all the turmoil in the world at present a spot of light relief won't go amiss.

I liked it at the beginning but think it’s had it’s day now.
On the subject of Mike Tindall he was a speaker at a charity function DS attended yesterday. He was asked if he was going in to the jungle. His reply was he couldn’t confirm or deny that he was. However he said I can confirm I am taking a flight to Australia next month so make of that what you will. I think that’s a yes.

I'm so looking forward to it being in Australia again.

It's about the only reality show I watch, and this year it sounds as though there will be actual celebrities on it rather than Love island wannabees and z-listers. Looking forward to it.
