The Ipcress File tonight 9pm

It was ok, didn't see the Michael Caine version so don't have that to compare it with. Do like Tom Hollander so that was a draw. On a completely vacuous note, thought the leading actress looked great in all those early '60s get ups, particularly the way her hair was skilfully put up under those Jackie Kennedy type hats, the stylists had really nailed that look and the actress, Lucy Boynton, I think that's her name, carried it off to great effect.

I wouldn’t have watched it if DH hadn’t wanted to. I’m glad I did though.

I kept dozing off but I watched enough to know what is going on. There is little else to watch.

I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it - it had big shoes to fill - but I did. Anything with Tom Hollander in gets my vote!

We enjoyed it even though it was predictable.

Hopefully, having read the book the tv version of The Ipcress file unlike the recent tv version of The Holiday, not disappoint.

I dont know if I can watch this without his presence overshadowing it?
