A wonderful, clever man. He hadn't been looking well but still being so witty. He will be sorely missed I'm sure.

Oh dear. I loved him on I'm sorry I haven't a clue. He was so funny and such an infectios laugh. RIP Barry.

He sat in the row in front of me and a pal in pitlochry theatre. He was one of the great comedy writers. Sadly missed.
