Oh God, the poor woman. Ulcerated legs are terrible to get rid of once you have them and need constant attention and dressing changes or they get infected and begin to smell really badly.

I don't know all the backstory, but all her clutter is family related.

Isn't life sad for some people?
Perhaps she has refused healthcare help, but it seems she has just been forgotten

I think an awful lot of people have fallen off the radar for general healthcare MissAdventure

I had a shock last time I saw this programme, the hoarder was an actress I'd worked with in a bar over thirty plus years ago. So very sad.

Awww, they have put some photos in a frame that says "family", and it's made her cry.

I watched a bit of it. I was shocked that she was only 75, she looked at least a decade older. I often wonder if these people go back to their old ways, I hope not because a lot of hard work goes into making their homes clean and tidy. I could never bring myself to watch Doctor Pimple Popper, it sounds stomach churning.

From what I've seen, it's rare that anyone let's things slide back to what they were.

Dr pimple isn't much good tonight, anyway.

Oh yuk - can't watch pimple popper! So sad when old folk surround themselves with clutter and live in chaos, though. They must be at a loss as to where to start clearing it.

I'd enjoy watching, so I'll check the 'Really' channel. I did know a self-confessed hoarder (never allowed in her house) who would go out, anywhere, all day and every day, to get away from it.
