This is so very vague, so I apologise, but it sounded intriguing and I didn't make a note of the title.
It is true life, and is about a woman who "conned" (maybe innocently, believing she was right) people into thinking she'd invented some miracle cure drug. But she had no scientific or medical background.
Does that ring any bells with anyone?
