Well I need to have a good think about this. I was really disappointed snd then began to think it was saying something really profound about the state of Britain ( not just the police). That what in a way we hope is organised well though out masterminded corruption is just sheer half arsed banal incompetence by a bunch of bumbling no hopers that have and will continue to fool us into thinking they are so much more than they are snd thus will continue to have powerf over us ( and breathe) Well it’s either that or I’ve wasted the last decade of my life ??

It was very flat. The only good bit was the speech about the importance of truth in high office.

Such a let down but open to another series.
A lot of hype with no answer.
Buckles was too young to have organised all that from years ago.

It was as if the writer had just run out of steam...... A missed opportunity for a dramatic twist at the end.

Disappointment here too, we certainly couldn't see Buckles as H. Not sure that there is anything left for another series. A bit of an anti climax.

I expected to be flamed for saying it was an anti climax but you have beaten me to it. Too much posing too.

Finding the box that tied up all the previous murders was too neat. The episode went downhill from there.
I thought they were suppressing giggles in the glass box interview.
