Do you binge watch?

Yes, we binge. Otherwise I find I forget! We do it with everything. Tape all of them...and then watch it all, say two episodes a night. We taped a series called ‘ The Confession’, last September, so 2019! We were hoping to watch it with one of our children and her fiancé, but having babies has got in the way!

Sorry Nanny100, that’s it for the wedding. I suppose the writers thought we all know that back to front?

I have only done it once. I had just bought a new TV as old one had died and new one was a smart TV. I connected it via my wifi to my laptop. Lock down happened. So...I thought I would use my Amazon Prime video thing. Had only used it for deliveries before. I found Downton Abbey. I hadn't watched it when it was on tv. I became hooked and watched all of it over a two week period. Loved it. The one and only thing I have ever binge watched.

Just to add, it may appear again I suppose....we’ve only watched to episode 4.

Yes currently doing The Crown - mind you recovering from major surgery so not much else I can do at the moment!

2 to 3 episodes is my absolute limit for watching anything. My eyes can’t take more than that. If that’s what you like then go for it

I’ve only done it twice, both right after Christmas.

First time was just after the BBC Pride and Prejudice - dh bought me the videos (then) and we all lapped up the whole thing on the night of the 25th. Dh was surprised at how much he enjoyed it - like a lot of men I dare say he’d imagined that anything Jane Austen would be sickly sweet.

2nd time was after he’d bought me the videos (again) of The Pallisers. I’d missed it first time around - we were living overseas) but had read and enjoyed all 6 novels more than once.
But that was spread over a few evenings - there are 24 episodes! Perfect for a good old binge on long winter nights!
I now have both of those on DVD.

Don't binge watch but I do regularly re watch selective parts of programmes which I have particularly enjoyed. Combination of knowing the settings and iplayer makes this a cinch. Love it.

I tend to do it on Saturday evenings when there's nothing worth watching on, unless The Bridge is on. At the moment I'm trying to get through Designated Survivor and Spooks.

We watched The Queens Gambit, a total of seven episodes, over 4 evenings. That’s the first time we’ve indulged ourselves on TV but the programme was amazing.

I'm new to binge watching but am addicted to scandi - noir series The Bridge. I'll be lost when it ends. Never watched The Crown as have no interest in royals.

Yes I am afraid I am a binge watcher. Not started in the latest Crown yet, but looking forward to it.

It's not something we normally do but we were in a holiday cottage in Devon one very wet Saturday a couple of weeks ago. The cottage had Netflix (which we don't at home) and we binge watched two complete series of Ricky Gervais's Afterlife - and thoroughly enjoyed every moment!

No I don't binge watch anything. In fact I don't really watch films or series at all. I struggle to sit through any tv programme longer than an hour, and even then I sit and sew or browse on my tablet at the same time. Our AC binge watch sometimes staying up all night to follow a favourite series.

Don't binge watch, but usually in an evening we watch an episode (or two) of what we've recorded, or is available on Netflix. (An exception to this was "DNA" - we watched the last two episodes as they were broadcast - gripping stuff.)

I have binged - Life for example. But I've decided to avoid 'The Crown' - would rather see actual news film of the time. From what I've read it seems unkind to the still living and very 'Holywood' view of royal life.

Unexplained illness last November kept me in I watched Vikings all series and Outlander. This year since lockdown first started Unorthodox The Office U S. I have recently watched Below deck it’s most recent series is only on once a week now. Started watching Christmas films not much else to do when on lockdown.

I never mean to binge watch but when I see the seconds counting down to the next episode and it gets to 2 seconds, I think I may as well, too late to switch it off anyway.

We don't watch one episode after another in one sitting but we will watch an episode a night. In fact we love that. We've just watched a fabulous Polish series on Netflix called 'The Crime' every night except for Sunday when we watched 'The Crown'.

Perhaps it is because the pandemic has stalled filming but there seems to be a complete desert of quality TV at the moment.

I find after an hour of looking at a screen I really have had enough - but we are watching one episode at a time of Queen's Gambit at the moment.

I’m watching a couple of episodes every evening of Greenleaf on Netflix. It’s addictive, and the cliff-hangers at the end of each episode are very tempting, but I make myself resist.

Hooked on The Bridge and now Borgen on Netflix. Very grateful for Netflix as an escape from the formulaic and tedious, not to say irritating, stuff like The Voice and Strictly.
The current Celebrity programme in Wales is more interesting as the real personalities of the self absorbed celebs emerge under the strain of the conditions they are in.

We watch 2 episodes at a time but having trouble settling on anything. One episode of the latest Crown was enough. First two episodes of The Fall last night were underwhelming. May rewatch Grim, as that was binge worthy. We

We call it binge watching but in actual fact it might take a full week to get through a series. We’ve just finished all 5 of the the Line of Duty series.
