Well we traditionally have a thread - so I am starting one.

All mothers of contestants are strictly (!!!) barred!

I'm rooting for JJ Chalmers! (I hope that's his name)

Thanks Puzzler61 - I am going to look at Artem And Kara's Rhuma on Youtube! smile
They became a couple after "Strictly" I believe, but aren't together now.

Yes I think you’re right DannieRae.

Just reading an article online about Aljaz, one of the professional dancers, and he says that although he and his wife Janette want to have a family, he is already finding that his recovery time is longer after a Strictly performance (he is only 30), so he feels he and Janette need to make the most of their dancing while they are at their peak.

This made me think of Anton and that, as mentioned before, he may actually request a partner not likely to be too energetic. I know he did really well last year, but perhaps it took him a year to recover grin

Does anyone else think that Jamie could be Judge Rinder's love-child?! hmm

Grannynannywanny Thu 05-Nov-20 11:49:06

Trisha57 I’ve been wracking my brain trying to think who he reminded me of during the past 2 weeks. You’ve hit the nail on the head ?

Sparklefizz Thu 05-Nov-20 11:50:50

Yesss Trisha57

DanniRae Fri 06-Nov-20 08:19:03

I had not noticed Jamie's likeness to Judge Rinder but since you mention it..........Yes, definitely! grin

Really looking forward to tomorrow's "Strictly" - Movie Week and my daughter is coming to visit - she is in our bubble - and treating us to an Indian Takeaway!! gringrin

petra Fri 06-Nov-20 08:33:03

Judge Rinder and Jamie have been on tv together joking about the likeness.

Looking forward to Strictly tonight and think that unless Caroline Q ups her game, she is likely to be the next one going home..... and I won't be sad.

Puzzler61 Sat 07-Nov-20 15:03:41

Looking forward to it too and rooting for Gorka and Maisie.
Hope the boys bring their “A a game” - J.J. , Max and HRVY.
I think Caroline may be in the bottom 2 with Jamie.

Puzzler61 Sat 07-Nov-20 15:05:17

DanniRae enjoy it while sharing the Indian meal with your DD. We’ll be having steak, chips, mushroom and tomatoes.

Ellianne Sat 07-Nov-20 15:08:14

Apparently there will be no family audience tonight due to the new rules.

DanniRae Sat 07-Nov-20 15:39:20

I won't be sorry if Caroline goes!
Thanks Puzzler61 - your meal sounds delicious too smile

Ellianne Sat 07-Nov-20 19:37:14

Why couldn't we have had the very British Anton playing the part of James Bond and not a Spaniard? Grr.

Sparklefizz Sat 07-Nov-20 19:49:46

Judges being more critical this week.

Sparklefizz Sat 07-Nov-20 19:57:50

Who is that sitting in Craig's chair? Has he had a happy pill?

Gingster Sat 07-Nov-20 20:00:38

Caroline Quentin ........ soooooo gushy! Yuk

Ellianne Sat 07-Nov-20 20:03:36

Caroline Quentin ........ soooooo gushy! Yuk

She's not too bad on the dance floor until she opens her mouth.

Sparklefizz Sat 07-Nov-20 20:07:11

I can't like CQ. Far too OTT.

Poor old Jason - not much Paso in his dance.

PamelaJ1 Sat 07-Nov-20 20:09:30

I think I’ve grown out of Strictly.
I’m so sad, does this mean I’ve got very old. The drivel talked in the practice sessions and between the dances has got to me tonight.

Calendargirl Sat 07-Nov-20 20:12:06

And why did John Cleese read the T&C’s in that ridiculous manner? Stupid man!

Calendargirl Sat 07-Nov-20 20:14:51

I’m with you there, far too much padding, and do we need to see the mums, nans, dogs to set off the water works all round?

Ellianne Sat 07-Nov-20 20:15:24

I agree. Rubbish in between bits.

Sparklefizz Sat 07-Nov-20 20:20:40

I agree. Nans, Mums, etc are boring for the audience. I usually go off and feed the cat, put the kettle on, or whatever in the rubbish bits, and rush back for the dancing.
