No more of her dreadful laugh, please

I have to switch off the radio when Elaine Page broadcasts. I can’t stand her chuckle either.

It seems I am Elaine Page’s only fan!!!!. I find laughter infectious whoever is laughing. I’ve asked around and yep none of my friends or family like her either.

My DH can’t stand her show because of the show tunes so I listen in with earphones whilst he listens to radio 5 live on earphones.

She made a joke today...... there are almost no jokes about white sugar and brown sugar well demarara She then went straight into a show tune and didn’t laugh on air so she must have heard that no one likes her laughter. Bet she was busting her guts off air though as was I

Elaine Paige! Cannot stand that snorting laugh. Usually turn the radio off within the first 5 minutes of her programme.

I’ve secretly been in love with Johnnie Walker since the 1960s and his time on Radio Caroline. He’s been through a lot health-wise but that voice of his is as strong as ever.

I must have mellowed with age as I really like listening to Tony Blackburn now. I used to find his corny jokes and chat so embarrassing when I was getting ready for school back in the day. My mum was a fan of his, so no chance of switching off.

Love Tony Blackburn's voice and also Ken Bruce's! When you have just the voice and no distraction of any visuals, it's important that the voice is just right. Can't stand Zoe Ball's screeching and babbling, or Steve Wright's mispronunciations, or Elaine Page or Alan Carr.

I love Craig Charles hes so good and his music is a blast. Steve Wright has always been a favourite but irritates the hell out of me when he ruins the ends of songs by singing over them.

Craig Charles on R2 when he stands in for Steve Wright has to be THE most annoying presenter with his screeching, fake-sounding laugh. I can’t actually listen to him now - I switch off immediately he appears.

Can't stand Dermot O'Leary, Elaine Paige, Alan Carr, Jo Whiley or Zoe Ball.

Like most people there are performers who I can't stand on radio and TV. Just remember we don't have to listen or watch, and we certainly don't need to comment, especially bearing in mind recent sad news. They are all people with feelings and we don't know how it will affect them.

Saturday morning, I have to switch radio 4 off one of the interviewers on Saturday Live irritates me, cant stand her laugh, her constant interruptions, she cannot bear not to be heard for longer then a minute so I have stooped listening listening.

I agree GinJeannie. I can't bear it, and I actually emailed Radio 2 to complain. I got an email back from Malcolm, the producer, saying that it's natural and she doesn't put it on .... which wasn't the point! It's naturally awful!

And Jimmy Carr's laugh is so false.
