How can they plant fruit trees on any available space in Ambridge including gardens? What if the homeowner doesn't want a tree blocking their view. Who will actually own and manage them and harvest the fruit?
I suspect it's a hamfisted storyline of Jim being abused as a child by the man who is in the wheelchair hence the mega wobbly he threw when he learned his keyboard had been played by wheelchair chap after Jim's swift exit from the party he didn't want a party is still a party no matter what you call it
I feel desperately sorry for Jim. His long suppressed painful memories that still hurt when they're exposed to daylight.
Good story line about Jim's abuse experience, well researched and written. Will Shula and Alistair reconcile? It's one of my Polyanna moments, I don't believe they ever would have separated - well, not if I'd been writing the scripts anyway.
There's so much padding which can be rather boring I think merlot in between nuggets of topical story lines, which I agree they often do well, such as Jim's abuse.
Sisteract The only major storyline you've missed is that Jim, we discovered was abused as a child, and his abuser turned up at his (unpleasant) surprise birthday party. He hadn't told anyone before so is in a real state. Joe hasn't died (only in RL of course), and Ed not caught and banged up........yet!
My DH is convinced that Ed will be killed by the nasties, and that Emma & Will will eventually get back together as they once were. And at least that would stop two other innocent people being driven mad!
