If more programs as graphic as this were broadcast because this programme was such a 'success', that would be gratuitous, but. the one programme, which has shaken and disturbed many who watched it I think has done nothing but good in making people understand what grooming is and how it works.

Grooming is a word we use so loosely without realising just how insidious it can be and how it can lure victims in and make them complicit in their own abuse.

Of course, I think you made your point clearly.
I was just explaining why I thought the program might have spent so much time (been gratuitously graphic I think you put it) on the young men's descriptions of their sex lives with mj.
I was talking to my son about the program and he felt it was necessary because its so hard for people who haven't had any experience of grooming or the after effects of sexual abuse to start to understand it.
As for it being used by the wrong sort...….they can find what ever they like on the internet now, cant they?

I don't know what others said, but with the amount of people who still refuse to believe the young men, perhaps the film makers thought it was necessary to be very very transparent!!
