Well I managed one day and I'm back again lol. I think its because as someone said its easy to watch and its chillout time with a cuppa. Chloe's sleeves look ridiculous with those long slits.
Can’t think why they had to bring back the ghastly scheming Andrea. they must be running out of ideas. As for Kyle v Gary - she should have gone to Specsavers!!
I watch it as a bit of escapism but have to say it is just ridiculous at the moment. And since Sonya died I have enjoyed it less and less. Her death still anmoys me because it wasn't that long before that she had tests to see if she could conceive again surely it would have showed up then? Or when she was in hospital after the poisoning? It must have been pretty advanced so she must have had it for a while. As for the Andrea storyline I wish it would finish soon, the same with Finn, Roxy, Elly and Mark. I am sure there were more likable characters and storylines in the earlier days.
? I agree everyone. Especially Amy - what does she see in granny's boy Gary? And do Karl and Susan have to be so understanding of everyone?! But still I shall be switched on later....
Roxie is that awful niece. Elly’s doe eyes are irritating, Mark needs to grow up. Therese must hsve resched the menopause. Amy needs to get shot of Gary, they are not a convincing pair of love birds.
Now they bring Andrea back, Is Finn fooling everyone?
Of course it is rubbish, but have to watch it, if only to moan about, Elly, Chloe and who is the other girl that has been brought in to be Terese' niece? I really want to give her a slap, in fact bring back Harold. They all come into the programme as awful people, then suddenly become wonderful e.g. Xanthe. Amy must get a grip and get rid of Gary, sorry I could go on and on and ................
I had absolutely no idea that this was still on! It was essential viewing in our house when our children were in their teens, but I haven't seen it for about 20 years!
I do have fond memories of Scott and Charlene though.
We are all creeping out of the woodwork, it is my hidden vice, no-one else I know watches it, of course it is daft, I want to give Ellie a slap, poor old Mark - its all true you know
It'seasy watching . Most nights I have dinner brought by my husband on a tray at 5.30pm and watch it. My chill time?. Hubby listens to the news at the dining table. I too wish Chloe would go away. She took advantage of Ellie.
I first watched this soon after it began. There was a story line then about a young man who was a high board diver - this was in the lead up to the Olympic Games. Two of my children were just starting diving, and I had turned the tv on whilst I was doing housework and was enchanted that a soap involved their sport. That story line came to an end quite quickly, but I was hooked!!! Did have a break for about ten years (C 2002 plus), but returned on being at home retired. Do enjoy this, I record the afternoon one and watch it whilst eating my tea that night. Of course, these days we and Australia are on exactly the same Neighbours time, in the past they were often something like a fortnight ahead of us. It is a gentle pleasant soap. Can't say I get at all emotionally involved with any of the story lines or the characters, but I really miss it when it has its Christmas break. Nellyfish is probably one of the best actors they have ever had!!!!
