I've given up - anyone else still in - so dull and slow.

I gave up half way through the first one - thought it was rubbish!

I've only seen the clips that were shown on Gogglebox. The looks on the viewers' faces were a mixture of shock, confused and envy (definitely not envy). I'm not sure it's my sort of thing. grin

Ridiculous

Though the Independent review did say something on the lines of it being useful if you were into dogging and it had started raining.

I doubt my hips would be up to straddling DH in a car with him sitting behind the wheel.

So utterly delighted I stuck with it. Brilliant acting, nuanced, emotional and insightful. One of the best things for a v long time. Last 2 episodes- tv gold

I didn't understand the therapy episode at all, possibly because I fell asleep halfway through it. The final episode did bring things together quite well, but my goodness it, too, was slow in parts! I fast-forwarded through a long scene of Joy chomping cakes, removing her shirt after the second cake and then chomping some more. Then she lay on the floor for a while in her stylish underwear, like you do. And there was a bit of a preoccupation with laundry throughout.

At least it did, in the end, lead us and the main characters to the conclusion that relationships are complicated, and that you can't separate sex from love and loyalty.
