Montalbano

I loved these series. I bought the first book and found the stories much harder to stomach than the tv stories.

For anyone suffering Montalbano withdrawal there is a little clip of him thanking his English fans on last Sunday's Points Of View. Very sweet and should still be on Catch Up.

I think Mimi is looking very old now. I don't know if you've read the books Luckygirl but there's a lot in them that isn't cosy at all. They are certainly very political.

I found the sexual violence hard to take and not the usual cozy Montalbano image.

Did anyone watch this Saturday? Montalbano just did not look the same to me. Perhaps he has lost weight, I even had to look to see if it was the same actor.
