DH is very hard of hearing in one ear and has little success with the several hearing aids he has tried. I have very good hearing but find quite a lot of programmes indistinct possibly due to mumbling acting and/or older recordings so rather than keep turning the TV up we purchased and DH installed a sound bar with our TV yesterday to replace our old surround sound system. Brilliant!! I recommend it.
