Sewing Bee 2018

I really enjoy Sewing Bee and also like Joe Lycett. He was on BBC2 last night with "That's The Way,A-Ha, A-Ha, Joe Lycett."

I used to like that programme but never heard of Joe Lycette I wonder why they would chose a comedian I never thought the strange bloke with Prue Leith in the cookery show worked but we ll just have to see

Glad the show is back. I know of Joe Lycett and think he will be a great addition to the show. I always found Claudia a bit silly, to be honest!

Thanks for that info Jusnoneed, I really enjoyed thae previous programmes, so will keep an eye ou for when it starts. I also have never heard of Joe Lycett.

According to google they are only just setting things up, it won't be filmed until late in the year. I suppose after the fall out, and that it was said they would never be back, it means it will take extra time to get things back in place.

I did wonder why a comedian too, they tend to be too much mucking about and 'about me' types.

Really pleased that the BBC have decided to bring this show back as it's great to watch. I did actually like Claudia on the show and they seem to have gone for continued humour with Joe Lycett. I will watch it with great interest.

So does that mean it will be played for laughs? A presenter who doesn't know much about sewing is good because they ask the questions those who don't know the subject ask. But I am not sure having a licensed court jester will.
