A gem from BBC Wales

Will be so sad when the series ends, it has been top notch.

I’ve just caught up with this after finding out about it on this thread. Don’t want to say too much as others are on earlier episodes but please please please let it finish with episode 8 and not leave it open for another series

I ve watched Keeping Faith after reading this thread I’m about to watch episode 3 I’m loving it and that is Laugharne Castle, think Dylan Thomas. I spent several holidays in that area when children were small it’s beautiful.

Thanks from me too. Being in Scotland I was unaware of it but watched first episode this afternoon.
Busy tomorrow but plan to watch 2 on Monday!

I started watching it after someone on here mentioned it a couple weeks ago, really enjoyed it. Watched episode 7 this afternoon.
Another one I enjoyed was The Disappearance, downloaded on catch up.

Just watched the first episode after reading this thread and am hooked. Thank you Terri .

What a coincidence! DH has been watching this on his laptop and raving on about it to me all week. I'll have to catch up, although I think he's already on episode 6!!

I’ve been loving Keeping Faith - all the actors are excellent. Love “Faith” herself - is it Eve Myles? - she’s wonderful. I think the kids are great too - the older girl has a good presence. So will Evan turn up in the last episode?

Forgot Christian Bale, read somewhere he's a relative of Gareth Bale. Not to forget Catherine Zeta Jones, she has a house in Mumbles, but you won't find it we were told when we were there Quite a lot of them plus all the musical talent Tom Jones, Stereophonics, Manic Street Preachers to name but a few. Oh nearly forgot lovely Uncle Bryn aka Rob Brydon who admitted to stealing CZJ's dinner money when they were at the same school when he was on "Would I Lie To You"

And Michael Sheen and Anthony Hopkins and Rhys Ifans
And Christian Bale and the one and only Ioan Gruffudd ?

Wales punches well above it's weight for a small country in the entertainment world, particularly with it's acting fraternity, many who have gone on to international fame. I like Matthew Rhys, Anuerin Barnard and Ioan Griffiths. On the small screen love Ruth Jones and her cast in Stella, plus the cast of this latest series "Keeping Faith" also very good.

Oh no! I've just finished watching episode 7 and realised I have to wait for episode 8

Welshwife. That actor was in "Stella", another favourite. played one of her main love interests. He looks quite different without a beard.

Keeping Faith was first shown in Welsh . We have great actors in and from Wales

I'll look out for that one seacliff, we are used to sub titles in our house we watch a lot of French, Scandi programmes, I often prefer them to the mainstream offerings.

I like Steve Baldini - that actor is in a lot of Welsh productions.

Will be waiting for the final part with anticipation Welshwife, It's listed as series 1, so we may get a follow up [hope so]

There is another BBC Wales production coming up later this year, Craith/Hidden. We talked about it on another thread. It will be broadcast first in Welsh I think. Great programmes and stunning scenery.

I'm wondering why this series hasn't been rolled out nationwide, it's so much better than say the lacklustre but over hyped "Collateral" to name but one, the really good ones "Broadchurch" and "Line of Duty" are few and far between. "Keeping Faith" is very good, too good to be tucked away.

Never underestimate BBC Wales productions - they do really good ones and frequently in both languages so it must go out on S4C too.
I think it is the last episode next week - Wed after Holby on BBC 1 Wales.

Yes me too seacliff, Saw the first one on my laptop. My husband asked me what I was watching, told him about it so he then caught up with it too and agreed with me thought it was really good. So we cast the rest on to the tv and binged on them over the last few nights. Only have episode 7, saving it for tonight, but I believe episode 8 will be with us later in the week.
