There is another programme about the brain Can You Rebuild My Brain, it’s on catch up now but shows just how amazing the brain is.

Richard has made wonderful progress. It just shows you what can be done. His determination and will to recover shone through, and his wife supported him through it all. I agree with you travelsafar, it is sad that all stroke victims can't get such intensive treatment. It just shows you the potential the brain has to rewire itself, and what can be accomplished.

Watched this last night and was in awe of the man who suffered a stroke and his determination to reach his full potential. His wife and the people supporting him were fantastic and I can only imagine how tiring and draining it must have been for his wife looking after someone with that amount of disability. She showed true love and devotion right from the start.Everyone who was involved with his recovery showed so much positivity which must have been great for the poor man Richard Gray who was a war hero. In my eyes everyone involved was a hero in one way or another. If only this kind of help was available for all stroke victims.
