Did notice the shoes but mainly kept thinking that no one does shows like this the way that Graham Norton does. Seems to effortless. Don't make a point of watching it but, when I do am always very impressed.

It was lost on me. Being a country bumpkin I just had to Google Laboutin. Bloody hell! Some people just have too much money!

I did not see the show but this reminds me of a summer wedding I attended . One of the guests was making sure everyone saw the red soles of her sandals BUT we could all see the cracked heels and hard skin on her feet too! Reminded me of that saying "all fur coat and no knickers"!

Subliminal advertising?

Yes! I did notice all their shoes, how sad
Although after noticing that, I did concentrate on Hugh Jackman.

Hugh Jackman was on that show and you were looking at his SHOES?!

I didn't watch the show, but can tell you that in December 2016, our DDiL very carefully spray painted the soles of her 'party' shoes bright red. They looked really convincing too, although I'm not sure that they would have looked quite so good at the end of the night's dancing!

I noticed the men's red soles on their shoes too. I just presumed that they were wearing Laboutins. Fancy, eh?

AuntieFlo I had a pair of not-very-expensive boots a few years ago that had scarlet soles, and my very trendy nephew expressed surprise at me wearing Prada ? (they weren't). So I think that may be the answer to your question.

I noticed that too. I'm thinking they must be the current 'in' thing with people with loadsamoney. I think Suranne Jones also flashed her scarlet bottoms, so not only the men on the show.

Silly New Years Day question. I noticed that about three male guests on the show last night had red soles to their shoes, that were flashed to camera. Were they the pricey Laboutins? Perhaps I don't get out enough smile, as I've seen the female ones, but not male ones before.
