I watched every episode, by myself. Children asleep and DH out playing with his band. Then off to dream of romance on the high seas.

Brings back memories of my mum who loved this programme and the music. Happy tear in my eye.

I was married then, and we always settled down to watch The Onedin Line, lovely opening music as I remember.

I used to watch the Onedin Line at home with mum. It was one of her favourites.
