You don't seem able to see it, do you GGMK2 ?
You complained that the thread had gone off topic, the 2 posts prior to yours were absolutely back on The Archers, who went off topic?
60p for visits to the toilet !
Can't find the old thread.
How silly the Matt storyline is - like the Rob storyline it is OTT. No-one is as villainous as Matt is being portrayed - they have just made him a stereotype of evil and it is ridiculous. I have never met anyone who encapsulates evil to this degree.
Stop it now you crazy scriptwriters and give as some storylines that reflect real life.

Merlot, I wasn't even replying to your post there were a couple on the previous page that were just about characters people didn't like. Even so all I said was:
This is not real. They are characters. Why listen if you don't enjoy it? I am stunned that people bother.
Which is pretty innocuous unless you are determined to take offence. Since then we have had these sick post after post. All people piling in to have their pinch or punch at one person - just like small children. I have said before and you should believe me by now, I will not be bullied. If you want to get this thread pulled you are all going the right way about it and how ridiculous for such a simple, inoffensive, original post on an Archers thread.
You're right Merlot, that had slipped my mind
Don't forget the vegetable stew, phoenix
When Pat told Helen one of the regulars at the Elms suggested something else should be in there I yelled, 'MEAT'
I object to your "tag team" reference, I am my own person, make my own comments, and feel no need to be part of a "team" except at work.
Now, yes, bit fed up with Harrison & Fallon plugging Sport Relief, and wondering where the Alice storyline is going.
Also, the mantle of Sainthood seems to have been passed from Jill (oh, just made some flapjacks and sound as if I've been goosed) to Pat (I'll just see to Henry, check if Jack can actually talk yet, milk the goats and then nip of to the homeless shelter at the Elms and do some patronising)
Graces, You jumped on my back two days ago after a perfectly reasonable comment I made about Doc Locke not having much to do.
You have been like a terrier with a bone ever since especially as some other regular Archers posters have dared to disagree with you.
phoenix returned to this thread this evening after possibly being at work today so she has every right to join in and comment.
I think you need to step back.
It's an just an opinion Chewbacca and it was both personal an offensive.
So we continue with the tag team. Noticeable very similar to those who like to "have a go" on the politics threads. I really care about this thread you obviously don't mind wrecking it.
You have been unkind/judgmental/confrontational on quite a few occasions.
And that isn't personal and offensive?
Only if it's untrue.
your you're

For the second time I have tried to bring us back to The Archers but you have to have your say, prove to yourself your are right. Why can't you stop and move on? What is driving you I wonder?
GGMK2 despite what you may think, and indeed post, I am the last person on here to "attack" anyone, having had some charming GN member print off a post and send it through the mail to my boss!
I'm very sorry to say this, but it seems to me that if there is any "attacking" carried out on this thread, you are the one doing it.
PLEASE take a deep breath, have a cup of tea, a glass of wine, whatever, and read back through.
You have been unkind/judgmental/confrontational on quite a few occasions.
I have a feeling that if you do respond to this post, you will accuse me of either attacking or patronising you.
Just found this written by the actress on the BBC Archer's page when checking how Nic spells Nic.
The episode in which Nic slapped George was a pivotal moment for the character. Things were never going to be the same after that single action. It was a real catalyst for change for Nic and the culmination of months of work.
I remember spending ages reading and rethinking the script to get it right. The scenes were beautifully written and really highlighted how emotionally fragile and volatile she had become.
I had forgotten her slapping George.
Ah ha. Alice has mentioned her colleague at work again - maybe she didn't kill Matt. I must admit I still can't see Nic doing it or rather anyone could have done it but I can't see her keeping quite like that. I could see her keeping quite for someone else though. Is there a side of her character I have missed?
one
You do seem to need to show off your education Maw. I expect you know that's what you have been doing. I did say I was as happy to get back on track as you might be but you added some extra animals so I thought I should acknowledge them.
I see that this hasn't yet ended - LG has come back or, as she might say "dropped in on this thread", one LG, I have been coming on since I joined GN so I wouldn't call that dropping in but there you go. I will end when you all do and will happy to do so but when one drops it another picks up the baton. Boring - very.
Glad that the Grundy's refused to accept the apology; Alice's behaviour was beyond acceptable and certainly and she's still acting as though she's the victim.
I missed the funeral - we're a house of illness currently unfortunately. I will try and listen at lunch time tomorrow.
Is something troubling you GracesGranMK2? I can see no explanation as to why you have dropped in on this thread and taken away its joy. So maybe it is something at home. I hope you will be feeling a bit brighter soon.
Alice was a star at the funeral! - that was a unexpected piece of scriptwriting. But the acting of the episode was, I thought, very good - she was obnoxious, but not so OTT that it was not credible.
I expect you do really realise what “Revenons à nos moutons” means.....
Well, perhaps I should have said from time to time during the evening. I am really not intending to spend all my time on GN I'm afraid MB.
I would certainly agree to a return to The Archers as, after all, that is what the thread is about. Should you prefer just the sheep, pigs and cows I doubt anyone would object.
GGMK2 I certainly won't while (sic) you keep coming back. So you will only stop this ridiculous behaviour if you have the last word? Now thats bullying behaviour. You dragged me into this silly war of words when I'd said nothing to you, or about you. My one and only post, on this whole thread, was to tell phoenix that I'd recognised that she'd tried to attach a smiley to her post. From that 1 post you've accused me of bullying you and ganging up on you. Report my post and get it over and done with it you're so convinced that you're the innocent victim of a vendetta.
I will be back later (Promises, promises!)
Fight, empty room....?
Revenons alors à nos moutons (et cochons et vaches ....)
I haven't dropped it. I thought you all might like to. I certainly won't while you keep coming back. I was just starting to cook - that happens at this time of the evening. My apologies if this is not convenient for you.
I really don't think you have been any more unfairly criticized than I was. I tried to move the thread on and you really cannot blame me for MB's post.
As for gathering a group together to set about you (I think that's what you mean)
No, that wasn't quite what I said was it so obviously not exactly what I meant. I doubt that playground bullies all decide to join in the nastiness. They just see the first person doing whatever and then add their two pennyworth. It doesn't make it any better though does it and it certainly doesn't make it reasonable behaviour.
I am aware just how silly this is. I just can't believe others can't see it.
Graces, You can't start something, drag it on then drop it like a hot potato when it suits you. As maw said, you have unfairly criticized some of us.
