Am I alone or..? Did I hear it right "He is giving his wife marks out of 10 and not usually more than a 6...! " I wanted to start throwing things at my TV! How could she put up with all of that? Hopefully when she has watched the programme herself she'll see what an absolute out of order MCP man she's married to... What did anyone else think? Or is it just me?

I thought the same. I was irritated by him in general. If my DH did that I’d throw something at him let alone the TV ! ?

Think I caught the last few minutes as I don't remember any scores .What was he scoring her on , her cooking?

Perhaps she gives him marks out of ten for other things?

Oh, sorry, I have got the wrong programme but the same remark could apply.

I was thinking of Back in Time for Dinner and was puzzled that he would say that because they seemed such a nice family.

Yes he scored her out of 10 for her meals and more or less blamed her for their overspend on food, at least that's what I thought he was doing, she was obviously a very capable cook but he was undermining her abilities with his "that's a 6 or that's an 8 out of 10" and she wasn't "allowed" to cook some things, eg. mince as he didn't like the smell!

Even the two children scored their mother out of ten for each meal she produced. Each would have been producing their own meal in my house. What a cheek.
