And I still can’t handle the keyboard after my latest IOS update

DH has restricted vision and finds subtitles distracting.

I wonder why there is such an issu3 about sound quality - i5 isn5 all programmes is it but certainly a good many

So dark and mumbly that I could not work out who was who - all looked much the same with big beards and big hats. Film industry DD explains that they keep it dark so that any old scenery and costumes will do.

Glad I missed it I am a total wimp and special effects are so realistic these days.
Am I right in thinking it is Kit Harington who is descended from Robert Catesby?

Why not put subtitles on? I use them frequently. For the graphic bit I just asked dh to tell me when it was over blush

I was enjoying it but turned it off too graphic for me I'm a woose!!

merlotgran Sat 21-Oct-17 22:31:42

I didn't mind the graphic content but I had to keep turning up the volume.

There have been many complaints to the Beeb about the poor sound quality of previous dramas but they clearly aren't listening.

maryeliza54 Sat 21-Oct-17 22:27:46

Apparently it was graphic because they want the audience to truly understand what the plotters were driven to act as they did

I didn't like it either, too quiet and difficult to follow. It looked an interesting programme and could be. Hope it's better next week.

Needed subtitles and couldn’t watch the hanging drawing and quartering but really enjoyed it - it painted the context well I thought - well directed. The tension in the he scene were the priest was being hunted was particularly good I thought - I found myself holding my breath

Why does everything have to be so graphic??

merlotgran Sat 21-Oct-17 22:15:42

Dark and mumbly.

Nothing changes.
