This was a joy from start to finish. Could ( + probably will) watch it all over again.

So glad. We've recorded it to watch tonight! Yippee!

I will get this on catchup today while Mr Duster is watching football. Something to look forward to!

Oh yes we have recorded this to watch this evening too. Looking forward to have a good old sing!!!!

It was lovely and definitely worthy of a good sing-along.

I didn't know Marcus Brigstocke could sing.

Absolutely brilliant performance, I enjoyed every minute of it too.

I thought Belinda Laing was a brilliant Aunt Ella; better than Maureen Lipman in the stage version and she was really good. My favourite character in Oklahoma has always been Aydo Annie.

I thought Curly had a wonderful voice.

Is that the one that has Just got back from the windy city etc.?
Oh what a beautiful morning?
If so I still remember those songs after all these years ( saw at the cinema.)

TriciaF Sun 13-Aug-17 10:08:14

ps no, Windy City was Calamity Jane. Also good.

Before we had a telly we'd gather round the piano in the parlour dining room on a Sunday evening and Mum would play songs from various musicals so we could have a sing-song.

I'm Just A Gal Who C'ain't Say No was my party piece because I loved doing the accent.

Being nine years old I hadn't a clue what it was really about! grin
