Anyone watching this? I've watched episode one so far.

Cool, classy and so Spanish. Love the house. Love everything about it.

I was also very confused about how Ana could survive for so long without water. Surely she would be dead. I started off really enjoying this series Now I'm not so sure and all the characters are so unlikable! but I do want to see it end properly. Does anyone know when the BBC are showing episodes 11-16.

Yes she is

Livia Mark 3? Mark 4 if you count the one in Young Montalbano. Is this one Italian?

maryeliza54 Tue 15-Aug-17 14:40:02

Yes I believe they are - this is yet another Livia apparently

Mamie Tue 15-Aug-17 14:35:22

Very frustrating "last episode" of "I know Who You Are". I have worked out roughly what happens in the next six episodes though, as IMDB episode guide has pictures but no words. ?
Are they really new Montalbano episodes? I have seen four with the new Livia.

Apparently Livia ( played by a new actress) is in the first of the new series. Bluebelle it might help you to know that she and M go back decades. She lives in Genoa I think and is a Lecturer(?). M has always backed away from committing to her and their relationship has been on and off over the years. He has occasional dalliances but I don't know about her.

This is it - it does not mention whether you can hire the man himself as well!

Not sure about Livia - grey cells do not remember back that far!

maryeliza54 Tue 15-Aug-17 09:18:10

If you rent his house, does he come with it? blush

maryeliza54 Tue 15-Aug-17 09:17:12

Luckygirl what about the back story with Livia? Was she still around at the end of the last series?

Luckygirl Tue 15-Aug-17 08:31:21

BB - the answer is Yes!
Nannylovesshopping - you can live in his house - apparently it is a holiday let when not being used for filming!

BlueBelle Tue 15-Aug-17 08:24:50

Will I be able to follow without having watched any previous ones ?

Nannylovesshopping Tue 15-Aug-17 08:21:58

Montalbano also one of my all time favourites, love him and all the others in the police station, love the scenery, the music, the food, so want to live in his house...... have read all the books, can't wait!!!

Marydoll Mon 14-Aug-17 23:45:30

It is a new series, with all the same origonal actors. You can check on the BBC website. I must say, Montalbano is looking as good as ever. wink
There are four new episodes.

overthehill Mon 14-Aug-17 23:41:00

Me to are we sure it is a new series? Also watched The Young Montalbano loved that also

Marydoll Mon 14-Aug-17 08:56:55

New series Montalbano starts next Saturday on BBC 4 at 9pm. Four episodes. Not enough sad

Bella and I are huge fans of this Italian detective series set in Sicily. I can't wait!

BlueBelle Mon 14-Aug-17 08:04:59

What's montalbano !

maryeliza54 Sun 13-Aug-17 22:16:36

Is it a new series?

Bellanonna Sun 13-Aug-17 21:52:53

Yes that puzzled me too. ( how did she survive especially without water?). I suppose next series will be a courtroom drama. I was expecting a nice rounded ending and was quite shocked when it finished as it did.
I'm a big Montalbano fan so roll on next week!

maryeliza54 Sun 13-Aug-17 00:06:49

Flipping fed up about it - will not bother with next series. How on earth had Ana survived for 12/13 days? Rubbish

overthehill Sat 12-Aug-17 23:41:29

Yes hate it when they do that

BlueBelle Sat 12-Aug-17 23:38:51

Well that's a bugger leaving us mid blooming air

Bellanonna Sat 12-Aug-17 20:46:42

I've been enjoying this every week too. Last one tonight.

Luckygirl Sat 12-Aug-17 20:30:49

I know what you mean BlueBelle - I keep thinking that none of the offices I ever worked in had a similar level of sexual activity on desks during working hours. Or perhaps I was just left out! grin

overthehill Sat 12-Aug-17 19:10:22

On tonight and looking forward to it.
Found it difficult initially working out who was who but think I've got it now. I remarked in another post that you have to concentrate, but feel maybe that it is good to tax the brain.
DH always says he likes a simple tale, but bless him he perseveres and he enjoys this to now.

BlueBelle Sun 06-Aug-17 06:25:25

Lot of sex going on !!! I must have been in the wrong job
