So sad to hear of the death of Paddington Bear creator Michael Bond at the great age of 91.
He brought such gentle pleasure to so many of us, to our children and to our grandchildren.

I loved the books, and had the joy and pleasure of sharing them with my 2 boys, even with an age gap between them of 10 years.

Timeless writing, that children will still enjoy for years to come.

Our children also loved his Olga da Polga series of books, and when we had a guinea pig, his name was Oscar da Whiska (pronounced Viska) after Olga, his heroine.
