Has anyone else been watching this police drama set in the 1950s? It`s on at 9pm on CH20, the drama channel. Tonight was the 2nd episode.About a young woman PC starting her first job in the force, and being ridiculed and treated as the tea girl by her fellow (male) officers. They`re even reluctant to let her undertake any actual police work.

I watched it when it was on BBC 1 and thoroughly enjoyed it.. It was on after Doctor's. A nice way to spend an hour

Someone told me it had been on before Marydoll, but it`s a new one to me, a friend advised me to watch it.

Yes we watched it on BBC 1 some time ago, as Marydoll said it was a very pleasant series. I enjoyed the 50's reminiscence.
