And his fingers

She took swabs from the blood stained (with his blood) clothes in the bag in the boot and then switched the swab that had her blood on it when that forensics officer was looking for he laptop and phone.

I don't know where the bag she had in the boot with his things in went .

I nearly missed the beginning as I was going around locking doors and switching a light on so I dare go into the hall!

Clever. We don't know what she did with the laptop and phone, just that they weren't in the car boot any more.

How did she get the forensic chap's DNA on the victim? Did I miss that bit. I didn't see what she did with the samples in the good box in her bag and what did she do with his laptop and phone?

It's getting a bit complicated. Everyone has something to hide.
The Assistant Chief Constable is a bit of a twit and I feel so sorry for Farmer who is suffering in prison.

Still good though

LadyGracie Sun 02-Apr-17 22:12:16

I think it got a bit silly tonight!

tanith Sun 02-Apr-17 22:01:35

Not quite sure what she got that female officer to do? She certainly a very cool customer.

MawBroon Sun 02-Apr-17 21:58:44

Oh she is a cool customer

MawBroon Sun 02-Apr-17 21:32:37

OMG -(spoiler alert)
Did she kill HIM?

Lazigirl Sun 02-Apr-17 18:36:38

I will have to watch preview recap carefully tonight as I missed aforementioned details too. Looking forward to it.

I bet she didn't like what she saw!

Iam64 Wed 29-Mar-17 17:43:44

So did I, then peeped through my fingers and I'm sure she opened her eyes. Aargh

durhamjen Wed 29-Mar-17 08:23:35

I must have missed things because I looked away when he got the saw out.

Elonthan, I was concentrating but it seems I missed some of the things mentioned here. It was so very fast moving.

grin

Eloethan Tue 28-Mar-17 22:20:11

I don't think I could have been concentrating properly. I seem to have missed some of the things mentioned.

iam it appeared as though a car, resembling the husband's, turned up at the flat. Then there was nothing! I assumed that it was the husband bringing the phone to Thandie.

Hastings seems to suspect Hilton.

Iam64 Tue 28-Mar-17 18:34:52

This is one of those wish we had an edit button moment. I accept that going to the forensic chap's flat was not a sensible thing to do but people spinning a web of deceit don't always act sensibly do they.

Iam64 Tue 28-Mar-17 18:33:58

The SIO arriving at the flat of the forensic chap was a shock but I found it believable, given there was obviously some kind of history between them and she wanted to avoid anyone knowing she'd done this. That's why she left her phone at home imo. I didn't see the husband outside the flat, I assumed he'd gone to the cop shop, as he thought she'd gone to work.
Stunning first episode, ranking up the tension from the start.

gettingonabit Tue 28-Mar-17 18:26:49

I don't see why Thandie turning up at Ifield's flat was odd either. They obviously had history. However she did leave her mobile behind. Why? To avoid triangulation? What happened to the husband after he set off with the phone, apparently pulled up at the flat but wasn't seen afterwards?

I hadn't seen it before but am binge watching on Netflix and have just started Series 3. As we are in France I have a French Netflix subscription and although the dialogue is in English anything written - including what happened at the end - is sub-titled in French. I have no problem understanding it, but my brain has to do a sharp re-boot. ?
Very good though, not sure why I haven't watched it before.

Maggiemaybe Tue 28-Mar-17 15:18:39

nanasam, you still have series 3 to watch as well...smile I've just been emptying my cupboards to see if the DC ever gave me series 1 on dvd, but no luck - I have found several unwatched series of Mad Men, The Tudors and Rev, but they're not calling out to me in the same way!

Thank goodness it's not too realistic - it's a drama, not Slow TV! Police officers do socialise, meet up and yes, argue with each other off the job, like any other work colleagues, so I'm prepared to go along with the scene at the forensic bloke's flat. She knew the address, so they must know each other pretty well.

Can't wait for episode 2!

tanith Tue 28-Mar-17 12:50:07

rosesarered I still wonder what on earth planet they were on with those armed guards too. grin

nanasam Tue 28-Mar-17 10:22:24

DH and I sat through the whole of Series 1 yesterday! We'd heard so much praise for this drama. Series 2 tomorrow, then we can catch up with the current episodes. Talk about square eyes!
