Just saw this for the first time yesterday - Anguilla (had never heard of it) looks like paradise. I would love to live there (though I would be a bit worried if there was a serious crime, since just hoisting a flag seemed to be a major undertaking for the police!).

I have been watching this, as I watched the Channel Islands one. This one seems even more parochial, but it is gentle viewing and a gorgeous setting. When the Governor said "we are celebrating having two centenarians with us today" I did wonder where the other one was - she didn't get a look in, did she? I felt a bit anxious for the young girl raising the flag. She did better than I did the first time I ever raised a flag - I got it half way and then it stuck. The RSM came up behind me and yelled "has someone died, Corporal G, or have you just made a dog's breakfast of it!" I nearly wet myself!

I had to laugh when the chap releasing the turtles accidentally followed it overboard and the others broke into laughter!
I enjoy these parish series, the Falklands one was good and enjoyed the Shetlands and Channel Islands ones too.

I love the Island Parish series. So nice to see the life of a community without some gobby self-important celeb presenting it.
