'.....as clean as a man named David'

My current hate is the dandruff shampoo ad . The strange way one woman says,"Seriously?" and the other woman at the end trills,"Gonna pull tonight!" have put me off buying that brand ever again!

Ha ha, maybe our talking about these ads was just what the advertising agencies were hoping people would do!

I can't stand the ghastly men in high heels and shorts - couldn't even tell you what it is advertising, but my hatred is for the P&O Cruise line with that Welsh bloke swanning around an empty ship when we all know that Cruises are "Butlins Afloat". Also, ads. with cosy grey haired old couples gazing fondly at each other in a care home or wearing their Tena pads with such pride.

Not too bothered with the clean as David one but the nicol whatsit falling off her chair with yogurt on her face drives me to drink

The ones I really like are the Haribo ones

We rarely watch ITV or commercial programmes, perhaps the above comments are the reason for this. If there is something on one of these programmes, then we record it and skip the adverts We find there is plenty to watch this way.

The adverts are a good time to go to the loo/make tea/phone someone/get a drink etc etc other than that they have no meaning for me.

Oh, I'm so glad we're not the only ones who can't stand these adverts.

And as for the woman laughing indulgently in the background........!! Do these ad agencies have their heads so far up their collective derrières that they think this is a great ad? It's insulting our collective intelligence. Ad land must be a different world to the one I live in.

I agree. Some of these ads are so counter-productive and make me absolutely determined never to buy a particular product. This David one is utterly daft.

I agree. I know young children come out with scatalogical comments, but that David one is pointless, peculiar and, dare I say, a bit inappropriate. Who is the man David?

Absolutely agree, was Katek, but the one that makes me laugh is the one where the lady works for the coastguard and can't hear people calling for help. She went to Specsavers.
