I thoroughly enjoyed 'Paranoid', thought it was very well written with a few lovely twists and turns.
It was filmed mainly in my local area though, so 'location spotting' was fun, which may have added to the enjoyment.

Watched all episodes over two days, not convinced by their policing, Bobby would have been off the case as he was not fit to work. It was supposed to be a small country town but had a huge number of detectives and the local hospital said they employed 4,700 people hmm

I failed to connect with this from the word go - unlike DH, who loved it. I found all the characters extremely irritating. I am also glad it's over.

Was rather underwhelmed by the last couple of episodes, I must say - quite glad it's over now.

Paranoid, completely bonkers.

Anyone watching The Missing? It's very good, as was the last series (although the first series was even more harrowing.)Am really enjoying Paranoid.

Love Paranoid, given up on Level !

Wobblybits Sun 30-Oct-16 11:42:09

Paranoid and Level are great, it's good to see ITV coming up with some thrillers.

I've lost the plot I keep nodding off.

Agree with sinister smile, a departure from her usual style ?!

rosesarered Sun 23-Oct-16 22:43:21

Have to say, am really enjoying this series, poor old Bobby, he can hardly cope! The blonde Quaker is sinister.....that smile.

Downloaded the first four episodes to watch, and recording the rest as they appear on tv.smile

Teetime Mon 17-Oct-16 16:37:25

It takes a bit of watching I didn't get it at all at first but the complex plot is now unfolding- intriguing and different.

rosesarered Mon 17-Oct-16 11:57:41

I would indeeed! Thanks peeps.smile

Jane10 Mon 17-Oct-16 09:22:05

I was glad I'd watched 2 episodes at once. It is difficult to remember what's what when watching each episode a week apart. I think rosesared would be glad of seeing them all as a set.

Auntieflo Mon 17-Oct-16 09:14:58

Morning Roses, it's on ITV at 9.00 pm. Good hunting.

rosesarered Mon 17-Oct-16 08:31:18

Could somebody say which channel this is on, as tried to find it last night on catch up tv (and failed) so I want to look out for it.

Grandma2213 i agree with you that their seems to be a small pool of actors who are used time after time in TV dramas, we need some new talent as it does become confusing!!! lol

Grandma2213 Mon 17-Oct-16 01:03:14

I have been watching too and am very confused partly because there are several actors who have familiar faces, from past dramas, and I am mixing up these characters. Auntieflo I think I should have watched episodes in a block as from week to week I am adding to the confusion. I am determine to carry on making sense of it though.

Jane10 Sun 16-Oct-16 18:21:47

Its well worth it roses!

rosesarered Sun 16-Oct-16 18:12:04

Must have missed this one! Off to look it up.

Auntieflo Sun 16-Oct-16 14:23:17

We hadn't watched any of this series until yesterday, when we had a TV fest and watched 4 episodes . Now I can't wait till the next one.

POGS Fri 14-Oct-16 10:57:53

I am intrigued so far, will keep watching.

Jane10 Fri 14-Oct-16 09:13:23

Yes I got sort of sucked in to this series. Actually I think its very well written. All the characters one way or another have ended up paranoid!

carerof123 Fri 14-Oct-16 08:59:35

Is anyone else watching this series. I find it very bizarre. All of the people portrayed are bonkers but I have to watch to find out what happens!!!!! lol
