So, as the trial has been and gone, we are all glad that Helen won, and Rob had his true self revealed, will the rift 'tween Adam & Ian be healed?

Whose jam will be judged to be the best? Will Joe approach his final rest?

Will Grange Farm rent be paid on time?

Can I be arsed inspired to write more drivel rhyme?

Away we go!

Maybe Emma will tell Fallon who'll tell Harrison.
There should be an injunction to keep Rob away from Henry and Helen.
The 'supervised' contact arrangement seems inadequate, it should be on neutral ground, away from Ambridge, with someone uninvolved to supervise. Alan if it must be a cast member, better a social worker. David is too closely involved to supervise. At least he can change the unfortunate GJ's nappy though!
What became of the nanny Charlotte? Why was she in the story at all?

LullyDully Sat 01-Oct-16 17:01:46

As if we needed any more!!!!! The Rat.

AyjayF Sat 01-Oct-16 17:13:43

This is becoming interesting. After Robs performance there won't be a single person in the village who dosen't know about it ( if I know villages) No- one can be in any doubt about his character. Go Emma, go Emma, go Emma!

DaphneBroon Sat 01-Oct-16 17:17:34

Wasn't it Tony who changed poor Giddyjack's nappy?

Luckygirl Sat 01-Oct-16 17:30:45

I've just listened to the last bit again (how pathetic is that!?) and it was Emma who was shouting at Rob in the background in the pub - she just sounded a lot like Susan and my poor aging brain got confused - well I as coking a meal at the same time!

My DH, who isn't the most fanciful person in the world, is worried that there may be one of those terrible events where a crazed parent murders the children and then kills themselves.

I'd be keeping young Henry locked up! Actually, that's probably a good idea anyway, given that he is meant to be five and sounds like a barely-able-to-speak toddler ... do the producers not know any five year olds? All my grandchildren at that age could talk the hind leg off a donkey and were blessed with the sort of killer logic you couldn't argue with.

Great comment on TA facebook page:

Ambridge gives Rob the clap grin

He's sounding scarily deranged now.

phoenix Sun 02-Oct-16 19:25:58

Well! Knob really is showing himself to be mentally unstable!

Fancy showing up at the cricket match after that incident at the Bull shock

Keep digging that hole, Rob, in fact I'm sure that someone in the village will help you out with a JCB!

AyjayF Sun 02-Oct-16 19:34:25

Rib is getting more + more isolated. Dangerous!

DaphneBroon Sun 02-Oct-16 19:34:38

That slow hand clap was one of the best pieces of scriptwriting I have heard!

merlotgran Sun 02-Oct-16 19:50:52

Cricket's over, hunting is next. Will the sab turn up?

Course he will!

AyjayF Sun 02-Oct-16 20:19:14

Has word got around about Emmagate yet. Will add fuel to the fire.

AyjayF Sun 02-Oct-16 20:20:50

B.T.W isn't Kaz just fabulous!!

LullyDully Sun 02-Oct-16 22:08:08

There is something coming surely. He is about to disappear up his own rear end in a puff f green smoke.

No.support in the village and he is losing his mind. Let's hope he doesn't hurt anyone in the process. He is trying his put down techniques on the whole village with little.success. what a nasty spiteful man.

Iam64 Sun 02-Oct-16 22:56:39

He's going into meltdown as things aren't going his way. I'm with others who say he will become increasingly dangerous. I'd keep Henry and jack very close, make sure school know Rob is not allowed any form of contact with Rob and make sure Helen is safe,

LullyDully Mon 03-Oct-16 07:21:00

Any tiny shred of feeling a tiny bit sorry for him in the slightest has gone. Even over seeing Giddymyson.Didn't he have contact yesterday and they both forgot?

shysal Mon 03-Oct-16 09:07:35

Why is Ursula still staying with Rob? Surely Bruce is back from wherever he went and will be demanding that she return home.

merlotgran Mon 03-Oct-16 10:47:58

Yesterday's episode was a bit daft really. Although Rob's humiliation is music to the ears, how come he mnanaged to spend three hours with Myson and still have time to rock up at a cricket match well before it started?

It probably didn't occur to him that had he been allowed to play, the opposing team's strategy would have been to 'aim for the bag!'

Helen, in the meantime, drove off to see Kaz. I hope she expressed plenty of milk as we've always been led to believe it's a fairly long journey. There was not only time for Mother Theresa St. Helen to make a detour to visit Kaz's mother, who has now miraculously recovered and regained custody of the children, but also to convert them to the benefits of tucking into a box of Bridge Farm organic veg for their Sunday Lunch.

Watch and learn, Jamie Oliver!

DaphneBroon Mon 03-Oct-16 11:05:55

I was thinking yesterday's episode must have been Saturday - cricket etc and that "Sunday" will form part of today's, but I am only guessing.
Didn't Helen have Jack with her then?
I'd better listen again today. (Slow handclap - gringrin )

AyjayF Mon 03-Oct-16 12:03:06

Yes merlotgran. Yesterdays episode was jam-packed. Time must be very elastic in Ambridge land. We were led to believe the mother/ baby unit was a long, long way away. Helen must have started at dawn.
Rob must have rushed his precious moments with his boy. Very odd.

Iam64 Mon 03-Oct-16 12:26:33

Come on now, let's enjoy the jam packed episode and remember, this is the Archers, it isn't set in real time or in real life. Giddyjack may be an easy baby who is happy to take formula or breast milk from a bottle if mummy isn't there. Many babies are.
Also, Sunday seems to be a movable feast in Ambridge, didn't it become Monday or even Friday during the trial/family court period?
Whatever, I was pleased to hear Helen being a good friend and Kaz reciprocating.
Get those divorce proceedings started Helen, before Mr Narcisist starts proceedings on the basis of your 'unreasonable behaviour' or some other even worse none sense. He'd love putting Helen under stress again.

merlotgran Mon 03-Oct-16 17:10:58

I also don't go along with all this 'Loyal Helen' stuff from Kaz, who obviously hasn't been listening to The Archers as long as we have.

Pat and Tony, Tom and Ian spring to mind for starters. hmm

phoenix Tue 04-Oct-16 20:03:53

Well, please bring on the psychiatric assessment for Knob, only wish his shenanigans in the Bull could be taken into account!

merlotgran Tue 04-Oct-16 20:16:40

Good that Helen has realised how much strain it's all putting on Pat and Tony. Maybe they'll have a bit of breathing space with Rob in hospital then convalescing.

AyjayF Tue 04-Oct-16 20:36:19

Well done, Helen. The start of the Titcheners losing their power over you
