I loved "Up" so will definitely check out Wilder People.

I hadn't heard of that one.I'll check it out. I don't know where this year has gone, cinema wise but can only remember seeing The Revenant and The BFG. Have seen a few good ones on dvd including Bridge of Spies and Spotlight. Theres also the new Cillian Murphy film [name escapes me] which is a prequel to Operation Daybreak, which I haven't seen, so not sure if I need to watch that first. The films I've just seen have Sam Neill and Viggo Mortenson in them which is a huge plus. Brilliant an actor as Sam Neill is it took this film to make me realise how good he is.

It is outrageous to think that the British Government interfered, with a Government official marching into her office and saying the marriage would "bring down the British Empire in Africa".

Sorry, I realise I've hijacked the thread somewhat. smile

Hi Tegan - Hunt for the Wilderpeople looks good and I hadn't heard about it. Thanks for the head's up. smile

I'm looking forward to "A United Kingdom" which is the story of Seretse Khama (a Botswanan Prince at the time) and Ruth Williams who fell in love in the late 1940s. Lucky for me my daughter wants to see it too so we can have a night out. wine cupcake

Haven't been to the cinema for ages then see two films in one week and they're brilliant. Similar in some ways in the they're both dark comedies and not for the squeamish; one is a 'road' movie and one an 'off road' movie. The latter reminded me of a non animated version of 'UP'. Which can't be bad.
