Jayne10, I was always irritated by the Tapper girl and her thumb sucking. She seems to have got even fatter. Why is her mum not "sorting her out"? Yes, she does loll about. Like great huge baby.

I'm really sorry but I do not like precocious children.

TV children always seem to be 'different' to ordinary children. Somehow they appear less innocent and slightly cynical, and it makes me wonder if there is a script of some sort.. hinting around what to say if not exactly stating it?

Yes Trisher I would wish that too but in todays world I would have been more protective of my child than to let her appear like that in such a public forum.

Jane10 I do hope that she has friends at school who have been taught (as I was) not to make personal remarks about people and to look at someone's personality and not make judgements on physical appearance.
The comments on the migrants and the Calais Jungle made me really think if only we could keep that pure caring attitude and lose all the fears and suspicions we develop as we grow older.

Watched Gogglesprogs last night, but didn't really enjoy it this time round.

Could be worse Jane10 she could have a dummy stuck in her mouth.
I watched it Phoenix and was a bit uncomfortable at first but ended up laughing out loud.
'Out of the mouths of babes'. dot, dot, dot. ?

Sorry to veer slightly but I was catching up on recorded 'Goggleboxes' after recent hols and was taken aback again by that girl. The Tapper daughter who is very clearly overweight and lolls on the sofa sucking her thumb. She must be targeted at school and I'm very surprised that her parents allow the family to be paraded like this on national TV. I can't be the only one who's noticed this. Of course she should be able to relax in her own home but it just looks so awful seeing a teenager thumb sucking.

Watched that last night too - we were both amazed at the insight the kids had and how grown up they seemed with their comments. Really fun to watch especially some of their explanations to their younger companions grin

A couple of very touching, innocent, and yet rather insightful comments/ observations from the youngsters tonight , especially about migrants/ refugees. (Calais Jungle etc).

Interesting,refreshing and possibly insightful?
