Went to see this with daughter last night (her and I had both read the book) - the female lead (I believe she also has a main role in Game of Thrones) - Emilia Clarke - is just lovely. Sam Claflin great too as the male lead. They both had to act their socks off, given that it's a tearjerker and they're in just about every scene and the story is actually quite basic.
Charles Dance is his dad and can't remember who the actress is that played the mum.
Lovely setting and locations. So I can recommend it, although I had to blow my nose at the end

What to do about my sister and my daughter
