As Eloethan says it doesn't matter but if you do want to look at the thread it's in the chat forum or you can look at the 'active' page. smile

There's nothing to apologise for - it doesn't matter that there are two threads.

Sorry about that but I don't know where the other thread is

ninathenana Thu 21-Apr-16 13:25:57

Yes the other thread has 60 posts

It's the first one I've seen and I'm very sorry to hear that Victoria Wood has died.

This is the second thread on this subject!!!

I think her popularity was partly due to the fact that she seemed to be an "ordinary" person. Of course her huge talent helped!! We all have memories of watching her programmes and wondering how she managed to make everyday situations seem so funny. RIP

It was an affectionate testament to her talent that she - like Morecambe and Wise - had some of the finest names in British acting falling over themselves to take part in her "specials" and obviously loving every minute of it. I hope they'll re-run some of her serious stuff - "Pat and Margaret" and "Housewife 49", and " Dinner Ladies" which I thought was one of the best sitcoms I've ever seen.

I feel incredibly sad that she has died. She seemed to such a part of the comedy/ entertainment world that it doesn't seem possible she won't be around any more.
