Twiggy

Is anyone else enjoying the Radio 2 1950's "pop up" station on digital radio till tomorrow. I only caught up with it yesterday and am now listening to as much as possible, although it's possible to catch up on the various programmes for the next 29 days.

Why have I written on this thread? Well, because Twiggy has a programme playing during the event, along with lots of other 'golden oldies'

Phew, I thought I was the only person to dislike Helen Mirren.

Helen Mirrem, a bit too full of her own perceived importance. Twiggy always seems refreshingly ordinary

Me too NotTooOld,more normal,not full of hang ups.Helen Mirren always looks like she's ready to jump down your throat if you say something she don't like.

I saw her on 'Who Do You Think You Are?' a while back. She does seem a lovely person. I think she's a better role model than Helen Mirren.

I never was the right shape for her style

I don't hate them - I'm just not the right shape for them.

She always seems very jolly and natural. I hate her clothes for M & S though.

I met her at a book signing about 6 years ago. She was lovely, laughed at my jokes and was completely normal. She has very dry skin but doesn't seem to have "done" anything to her face.
